Has Pooja Batra got married secretly? Well, her Instagram posts say so. Reports are fresh that Pooja Batra got married to her long-time boyfriend, Nawab Shah in a hush-hush manner. Pooja has shared a picture and video of herself where she is seen wearing choodah (worn by newlywed women).
A source said that the couple were recently in Srinagar to attend Shah’s sister wedding, adding both their families are happy for them and son they will be registering their marriage. “They have yet to register the marriage but it will happen soon. Their family and close friends are happy for them. They were in Srinagar recently for Nawab’s sister’s wedding,” said a source.
It was on Eid that Nawab confessed his love for Pooja. He captioned it saying, “It took 46 years for my soul to be Ready , and then my mate appeared . Eid Mubarak soulmate. Eid Mubarak to all.”
The Viraasat actress was Pooja previously married to Los Angeles-based orthopedic surgeon Dr Sonu Ahluwalia in 2003. Speaking about her marriage she had said, “it was the most gruelling, lonely and difficult phase of my life.” Nawab has acted in films like Don 2, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Musafir, Lakshya and Dilwale.
