Popular Yesteryear Actress Joins Akhanda 2?
In Telugu cinema, some actor-director partnerships remain popular for years. One such famous pair is actor Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu. After their big successes with movies like Simha, Legend, and Akhanda, they are coming together again for Akhanda 2. Fans are very excited even before any footage from the film has been released.
The movie is produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the banner 14 Reels Plus. Balakrishna’s daughter, Tejaswini, is also involved as a co-producer. Though there were rumors about delays, Boyapati Srinu confirmed that Akhanda 2 will release on September 25, coinciding with the Dussehra festival.
There are also talks that veteran actress Vijayashanti might join the cast in an important role. She has worked with Balakrishna before and their chemistry on screen was well received. After her recent performance in Vyjayanthi, the makers want to bring back that magic for this film.
Details about the story are still under wraps, but the announcement has created a lot of buzz among fans. Since the first Akhanda was a huge hit, expectations are high for the sequel to deliver the same level of action and drama, or possibly even more.
