Ram Charan out, THIS hero in for star director’s epic film
Filmmaker Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, known for Kill, was earlier rumored to be collaborating with Ram Charan for a mythological film. However, in a recent interview, he clarified that no such project is happening with the actor at this time.
Now, fresh reports suggest that Vijay Deverakonda is in discussions for the role. According to 123Telugu, Nikhil met Vijay during his recent visit to Hyderabad to discuss the project. While there is no official confirmation, this speculation has generated excitement among fans.
Sources indicate that the film is a grand, big-budget epic based on a significant character from Indian mythology. Nikhil is also collaborating with producer Murad Khetani, but further details are being kept under wraps.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Nikhil shared that he is developing a new story but feels it is too early to reveal specifics. He emphasized that the project would blend intense action with deep emotions, making it the most challenging film of his career.
“It’s a film that’s going to challenge me like no other project has before, and I’m excited to explore new dimensions of storytelling with it,” he stated.
Reflecting on Kill’s success, Nikhil called 2024 a milestone year. The film’s critical acclaim in India and internationally reinforced his belief in the power of storytelling to transcend borders.
“With Kill receiving recognition both in India and abroad, I feel I’ve stepped into a world where stories can connect with audiences globally,” he said.
Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda is preparing for the release of his next film, Kingdom, scheduled to hit theaters on May 30, 2025. If the rumors about his involvement in Nikhil’s mythological project turn out to be true, it will mark a significant new chapter in his career.
