Rana Daggubati on Deepika Padukone Exit:

After Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone exited the movie Spirit directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the topic of working hours in the film industry became a hot discussion. Actor Rana Daggubati recently shared his views on the subject during an interview.

Rana explained that the work schedule in the Telugu film industry is already well-organized. According to him, many Telugu film sets follow an 8-hour working day, usually starting at 7 a.m. He compared this with other regions like Maharashtra, where the standard shift goes up to 12 hours.

The Baahubali actor said work hours depend on the film’s scale, the person involved, and the preparation needed. Big-budget films, especially those with grand sets and action scenes, may require more time, but usually, only a couple of shots are done in a day. He emphasized that this topic isn’t simple and cannot be generalized.

When asked if actors are forced to work longer than necessary, Rana clarified that no one is being pressured. He noted that an actor working just 4 hours could still achieve more than someone working 8 hours, depending on their efficiency and preparation.

Deepika Padukone reportedly left Spirit due to creative and scheduling differences. She is now said to be playing the lead in Allu Arjun and Atlee’s upcoming project, where she is expected to portray a warrior queen-like character.

Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati was last seen in Vettaiyan alongside Rajinikanth, playing the main villain. He is also set to return with Season 2 of the Netflix series Rana Naidu, which will stream from June 13, 2025.
