Ravishing Shruti Haasan is multi-hyphenated star. Not only an actor, but the actress is seen in music production, dance among other art forms. Ask her how she manages the work, Shruti credits her success to her father, Kamal Haasan.
Shruti explains, “My father has very kindly let me be myself. He told me once that if I really wanted to act, then I should be able to do it well if I love my job. He believed that no third person can breathe soul into a character other than the actor who has been assigned to play the role. So whether right or wrong, I can reconcile with my decisions.”
The Race Gurram actress goes on to say that the same prinicple she follwes when it comes to her younger sister Akshara. “But just like my father did to me, I have never offered any unsolicited advice to Akshara. We’re poles apart, and she needs to find her own rhythm. However, we’re always there to guide and support her through thick and thin,” Shruti said.
On the work front, She will be seen in Power, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar which has Vidyut Jammwal as the lead actor.
