Now that the theatres are open in full swing, the big screens are seeing so many back-to-back releases. The month of February saw close to 30 releases and only a noted few made merry. The film business is slowly getting better with each passing day. Out of them, the films that have made big money are Uppena, Zombie Reddy, and Naandhi. These films have seen handsome profits and films like 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela ended as a safe bet for the makers.
But films like ‘Kapatadhaari’, Vishal’s ‘Chakra’, Nithin’s Check, and Jagapathi Babu’s FCUK’ are the films that tanked at the box-office. These films were hyped and were also promoted in a big way. So much money was also spent on the promotions of the film but they tanked and brought losses to the makers.
