Rana Daggubati reduced weight drastically from Nene Raju Nene Mantri in recent times. He did not tell the reason out in public but there were rumours that he had health issues. The actor finally revealed in a National interview that he reduced weight for his character in Haathi Mere Saathi and even in his next Telugu film, Virat Parvam 1992, he will appear in the same look.
