Why Do Big Projects Slip Away from Krish?
Director Krish Jagarlamudi was once the talk of Bollywood. Even ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali praised him after working together on Gabbar Is Back, a remake of the Tamil hit Ramana. The film, starring Akshay Kumar, was a box office success and earned Bhansali huge profits. Krish impressed everyone with his perfect planning and direction style.
In Tollywood too, Krish proved his talent with the film Gautamiputra Satakarni, made on a limited budget and short schedule. Despite such a good track record, fans are now wondering—why is Krish repeatedly stepping away from big projects?
The issue started with Manikarnika, a historical drama starring Kangana Ranaut. Krish directed most of the film, but after 70% of the shoot, Kangana reportedly began disagreeing with him. This led to major creative clashes, and Krish eventually walked out. He even took legal steps for proper credit, which became a big controversy.
Now, a similar story seems to be repeating with Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan. Krish directed nearly 80% of the film, but due to long delays and creative differences, he has stepped away once again. The team has now split the movie into two parts, with Krish and Jyothi Krishna listed as directors for Part 1, which is set to release on June 12.
This pattern of walking out from near-completed projects has sparked fresh debate. Why do these issues follow Krish? Is it just bad luck, or are deeper creative conflicts involved?
Krish, who once openly spoke about the Manikarnika controversy, has remained silent about Hari Hara Veera Mallu so far. Everyone is waiting to see if he will finally speak up and tell his side of the story.
