This Gandhi Jayanthi is turning out to be a big day of Indian Cinema. Not one or two, but three big films are clashing at the box office on the same day. Already, Chiranjeevi’s Syeraa Narasimha Reddy and Hrithik Roshan’s War are getting ready to hit the screens on October 2.

Hollywood biggie clashes with Syeraa and War

Now, Hollywood biggie Joker has also joined this competition. Initially, the film was slated for the release on the 4th of October. But now, the producers have planned to release it two days earlier in India, on the 2nd of October. Thus, Joker will pose a threat to the other two biggies, especially in the multiplexes.

Starring Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role, Joker is based on the comics of the popular anti-hero of the DC universe. The film is directed by Todd Philips of Hangover series, Due date and War Dogs fame. It is being distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
