Odela 2 box office collection day 2 prediction
Tamannaah Bhatia’s latest film Odela 2 is a supernatural horror-thriller that released worldwide on April 17, 2025. Directed by Ashok Teja and written by Sampath Nandi, the movie is a sequel to Odela Railway Station. The film had good buzz before its release, especially due to Tamannaah’s unique role as a female Aghora, Shiva Shakthi.
The story follows events in a village called Odela. In the first film, Tirupati, a man who murders newly married women, is killed by his wife Radha. In Odela 2, his evil spirit returns and continues to haunt the village. Shiva Shakthi, a strong devotee of Lord Shiva, arrives in the village to stop him.
Tamannaah’s performance as the spiritual warrior is a fresh turn in her career. The movie also stars Hebah Patel, Vasishta Simha, Murali Sharma, and others in key roles. The film’s music is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, and it is produced by D. Madhu under Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks.
On its first day, Odela 2 earned approximately Rs 0.85 crore from the Telugu version. While some viewers appreciated the concept and Tamannaah’s role, the movie received mixed to negative reviews overall. Still, the team hopes the weekend collections will improve, especially as fans of horror and thriller genres show interest.
However, the film faces competition from another new release, Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi, which is also doing well at the box office. This may affect the earnings of Odela 2 in the coming days.
As of now, the total estimated collection for the first two days stands at around Rs 0.88 crore. The weekend performance will be crucial for the film’s success.
