Simbu Shares Exciting News About Pawan Kalyan OG

Silambarasan TR popularly known as Simbu has confirmed that he has sung a song for the much-awaited Telugu movie They Call Him OG. The film stars Pawan Kalyan and is currently in production. Simbu recently spoke about this while promoting his own movie Thug Life in Hyderabad. He praised music director Thaman for his work and shared that it was a dream come true for him to sing for Pawan Kalyan.

There are rumors that Tamannaah Bhatia may appear in the song, but the film’s makers have not confirmed this yet. They Call Him OG is a gangster action film directed by Sujeeth, who is known for the movie Saaho. The story revolves around a Mumbai gangster who returns after ten years to seek revenge against a rival don. The film features a strong cast, including Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das and Prakash Raj.

On the other hand, Silambarasan TR is also preparing for the release of Thug Life, which will hit theaters on June 5, 2025. Directed by Mani Ratnam and co written by Simbu and Kamal Haasan, the film is a gangster drama. It tells the story of Rangaraaya Sakthivel Nayakar, a gangster who saves and raises a boy named Amaran. Later, Sakthivel is thought to be dead, and suspicions arise around Amaran. The movie also stars Kamal Haasan, Trisha Krishnan, Joju George and others.

Following Thug Life, Simbu will work on another project, tentatively called STR49, which will feature Kayadu Lohar and Santhanam.

This confirms that Silambarasan TR is busy with multiple exciting projects in 2025, continuing to make his mark in the South Indian film industry.
