Mansoor Ali Khan Files Defamation Suit Against Trisha and Chiranjeevi

Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan has taken legal action against fellow actors Trisha, Chiranjeevi, and Bharatiya Janata Party member Kushboo Sundar. He claims they misrepresented a joke he made, turning it into defamatory remarks on social media.

Khan filed a lawsuit in the Madras High Court, asserting that Trisha and others twisted his joke’s meaning without confirming the truth. He clarified that his comments were about negative characters he portrayed and were not directed personally at Trisha, his co-star in the movie “Leo.”

He clarified that his previous statement, which sparked controversy, was not intended as a personal attack. It involved his role in the film and lacked any personal criticism towards Trisha or any specific woman.

His remarks during a promotional event for “Leo” were met with criticism, leading to backlash from actors like Chiranjeevi, Kushbu Sundar, Trisha, and the makers of the movie, who condemned his statements on social media.

Following the uproar and the National Commission for Women’s involvement, the Chennai police filed a complaint against Khan. He publicly apologized to Trisha afterward. However, he has now approached the High Court with a defamation lawsuit against those who criticized him.
