The song originally featured Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishna and Manisha Koirala. Reacting to the new version, Nagarjuna tweeted, “Thank you Anoop Shankar!! It’s been 25 years since this beautiful song was composed by Baahubali music director MM Keeravaani. So happy to know you are dedicating this song to the selfless hearts who serve society (sic).”

The song was released in honour of the medical fraternity on World Nurses Day, Anoop Sankar explains. He said, “I was fortunate to sing this song in front of the Legendary hero Akkineni Nagarjuna and his better half Amala Akkineni at the Diwali celebrations hosted by Kalyan Jewellers a couple of years ago. The short clip of the song was accepted with so much of love by music lovers and the official streams have crossed 250 million. Since then, there have been so many requests, especially from fans of Nagarjuna sir to release a full version of the same”.
