Tollywood at last heaved a sigh of relief after Telangana government accorded permission to resume shoots for daily soap-operas and films from June 15, with a limited cast and crew. After nearly three-months of lockdown, the makers are raring to go to resume their impending work. Amidst this speculations are rife that Rajamouli’s magnumm-opus RRR would be the first film to go on floors. An official announcement is awaited on the same, but reliable sources have said that Rajamouli’s film has all the possibilities to resume their work.
In fact, even in the lockdown RRR team kept their work in continuation by working on background music and other works. Starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR who will be seen Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem respectively, is set against the backdrop of pre-Independence era. RRR boats of en enseble cast with the likes of Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and then Olivia Morris, Irish actors Alison Doody and Ray Stevenson. Touted to be made on astronomical budget of Rs 350 crores, it is bankrolled by DVV Danayya.
