WAR 2: Can a Dance Number Bring Back the Buzz?

WAR 2 is one of the most awaited Indian action films of 2025. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani in major roles. The film is set to release worldwide on August 14, 2025, and has generated a lot of curiosity due to the star cast and its spy-thriller plot.

The excitement around the film grew mainly because it brings together Hrithik Roshan from Bollywood and Jr. NTR from South Indian cinema. Fans expected a powerful face-off between these two stars. However, when the teaser was released recently, it didn’t fully meet audience expectations.

While Hrithik’s performance impressed viewers, Jr. NTR’s screen presence did not have the same strong impact. The teaser also faced criticism for its weak VFX, which further reduced its effectiveness in creating hype.

Still, the makers have one strong hope: a high-energy dance number featuring both Hrithik and Jr. NTR. Dance fans are especially waiting for this song, which could reignite interest in the movie. Originally planned for March, the shoot for this special track was delayed due to Hrithik’s leg injury.

As per reports, the song will now be filmed at Yash Raj Studios in the last week of June. A grand set is being built, and the shooting is expected to take 10 days. This will be the final schedule for the film. To avoid leaks, phones have been banned on set and a tight 60-member security team will be monitoring everything.

Filmmakers hope this song will not only showcase the stars’ dance skills but also add the much-needed buzz to the movie. If the song turns out to be visually stunning and catchy, it could bring back excitement among fans and boost the film’s promotion.

Even though the teaser didn’t create the expected magic, this dance number might be WAR 2’s biggest chance to shine before its release.
