Audience Chooses Mirai Over War 2: Here’s Why
The teaser for Mirai, starring Teja Sajja, was recently released and quickly became the talk of the town. Just a week before, War 2—a high-budget film featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR—also released its teaser. Surprisingly, the reactions to these two teasers were very different.
Despite having two superstars and being made by Yash Raj Films, War 2 failed to make a strong impact. The visual effects (VFX) were heavily criticized, and even the scenes with NTR didn’t satisfy his fans, especially those from the Telugu-speaking states. The teaser was released on NTR’s birthday, but it still couldn’t win the support of his loyal audience.

On the other hand, Mirai, directed by Karthik Gattamneni and produced by People Media Factory, impressed viewers with its fresh and exciting visuals. Teja Sajja, who gained popularity with HanuMan, once again managed to catch attention with this teaser. The visuals felt new and meaningful, and people are now looking forward to the movie’s trailer.
The difference lies in the approach. War 2 seemed to focus more on big names and less on quality content. The VFX felt forced and outdated. In contrast, Mirai used its limited budget wisely, delivering visuals that matched the movie’s tone and captured audience interest.

This comparison highlights a key issue in filmmaking today—spending too much money on actors and too little on production quality. While War 2 had a massive budget, Mirai used its smaller budget to create something more impressive.
This sends a strong message: audiences today want quality content, not just big stars. When passion and creativity lead a project, even a small film can make a big impact. Mirai shows that with the right focus, a good story and meaningful visuals can outshine even the biggest of movies.
In the end, Mirai proves that passion is more powerful than star power when it comes to winning the hearts of today’s viewers.
