Nani’s HIT 3 box office collection day 1

The third movie in the HIT series, titled HIT: The Third Case or HIT 3, had a grand release on May 1, 2025. This crime thriller was co-produced by Nani, who also played the lead role of a bold police officer named Arjun Sarkaar IPS. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film is a part of the growing HIT universe and was made with a budget of ₹65 crore.

HIT 3 hit the screens alongside Retro, a historical drama starring Suriya and Pooja Hegde. Despite strong competition, Nani’s film made a remarkable impact at the box office. On its first day, HIT 3 earned an impressive ₹4.30 crore share in the Nizam region alone. Worldwide, the movie collected ₹43 crore on the opening day, which includes ₹19 crore from India across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions.

Nani’s performance as the intense and fearless officer received praise, even though the movie got mixed reviews for its story and direction. His role as Arjun Sarkaar, a tough cop transferred from Jammu & Kashmir to Visakhapatnam, showcases a darker and action-driven side of the actor. The story follows his investigation into a series of brutal murders, which leads him into a dangerous game of survival.

The movie also stars Srinidhi Shetty, known for her role in KGF, marking her debut in Tollywood. The strong performances, thrilling storyline, and intense action sequences contributed to the film’s popularity.

HIT 3 not only continued the success of the previous films in the franchise but also marked one of Nani’s best box office openings, even beating the first-day record of his earlier film, Dasara, in overseas markets.
