Though Rashmi Gautham made her debut with films, she gained stardom only through television. Her film career didn’t go as expected but her stint on television helped Rashmi gain popularity among the audience which is no less than a star heroine. Currently, she hosts the show Jabardasth.
Now, Rashmi is all set to test her luck on the webspace. Just like many other prominent actors, Rashmi is also making her digital debut with a new web series. This untitled project will be helmed by Shekhar Suri of A film by Aravind fame. The shoot of the show has already begun.
A couple of days ago, we reported that she plays the role of a lesbian in the movie too. Apparently, Rashmi maintained silence on this but few media outlets have reported the news in an objectionable manner to which some film personalities on social media found fault. Still, it also helped in the promotion of the actor’s project. Rashmi will be joining the sets very soon. Hero Srikantha and Satya Dev are also playing the other lead roles in this series. Rashmi is quite excited about her digital debut and is hoping to score a success with her maiden stint in the web arena.
