A lot of hype is surrounded around Rajamouli’s RRR. The film which was supposed to release in July 2020 has been postponed to the much dismay of the fans. The makers have new released an official new date as January 8th, 2021 and the reason for postponement. “#RRR will hit the screens on January 8th, 2021! We know the wait is long but we promise to keep giving you updates in the meanwhile. #RRROnJan8th,” tweeted the RRR official handle.

Another tweet reads, “Your love and support have made all our hard work and hectic schedules worthwhile! We are working round the clock to give you a cinematic experience like never before. And with a huge worldwide release planned, we have had to postpone the date of release”. Starring Ram Charan Teja and Jr NTR as Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem respectively, the film went on floors in November 19,2018 in Hyderabad. The film also boasts of stellar cast Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Samuthirakani, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Music is scored by MM Keeravani while KK Senthil Kumar cranks the camera and A Sreekar Prasad editing.
