Samantha Shubham Locks It’s Official OTT Date
Subham, a Telugu horror comedy film, is all set to make its digital debut after receiving a good response in theatres. Directed by Praveen Kandregula, the movie was originally released on May 9, 2025, and gained attention for its unique storyline and strong performances by a young cast. Now, audiences can watch Subham from the comfort of their homes, as it will start streaming on JioHotstar from June 13, 2025.
Set in the early 2000s in the peaceful coastal town of Bheemili, Subham revolves around the life of Srinivas, a simple cable TV operator. He lives happily with his wife, Srivalli, who is an MBA graduate. At first, everything seems normal in their married life. However, things take a mysterious turn when Srivalli begins to behave strangely every night at exactly 9 PM—she becomes distant and emotionless. This strange behavior is not limited to her alone, as other women in the village start showing the same symptoms.

Disturbed by this strange pattern, Srinivas begins to investigate. His search for the truth uncovers a frightening mystery connected to the nightly hour. As fear spreads through the village, Srinivas races to find the cause behind these eerie events. The story blends suspense and comedy, keeping viewers engaged throughout.
The film stars Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Shravani Lakshmi, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud in key roles. Subham is presented by actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and produced by Tralala Moving Pictures. The story is written by Vasanth Mariganti, with Raj Nidimoru serving as the creative producer. Other contributors include Himank Duvvuru as co-producer and Ramakrishna Rao as associate producer.
The technical team includes Mridul Sujit Sen as the cinematographer, Dharmendra Kakarala as the editor, and Shor Police as the music composer, with the background score by Vivek Sagar. The production design is led by Ramcharan Tej Labani.
