Ustaad Bhagat Singh: Pawan Kalyan’s mega paycheck sparks buzz
One of the most anticipated films in Telugu cinema.Ustaad Bhagat Singh starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan, is creating a buzz due to its massive budget and high remuneration for the actor. Directed by Harish Shankar, this film marks the second collaboration between the director and the star, after the success of Gabbar Singh.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh is a remake of the popular Tamil film Theri, which was directed by Atlee. The story follows a tough cop, and while fans initially expressed concerns about the remake, Harish Shankar reassured everyone that the film would have significant changes to ensure a fresh experience. Pawan Kalyan will play the role of Bhagat Singh IPS, and actress Sreeleela has been cast as the female lead.
The film’s production team is headed by Yalamanchali Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni, who are known for backing big-budget projects. The filmmakers have reportedly spent around Rs 150 Crore on the movie, and a substantial portion of this budget has gone into Pawan Kalyan’s remuneration. The actor is reportedly receiving Rs 170 Crore for his role, a figure that has set social media on fire. This move has placed Pawan Kalyan in the running for the highest-paid actor in Tollywood, possibly surpassing stars like Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu.
The movie is being produced under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, known for producing successful films like Pushpa 2. The film’s music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while Ayananka Bose and Chota K Prasad are handling cinematography and editing, respectively.
