Who can play Dadasaheb Phalke better: Aamir Khan or Jr. NTR?
Dadasaheb Phalke is known as the Father of Indian Cinema. He made India’s first full-length feature film and changed the future of Indian movies forever. Making a film about his life is not an easy task. But now, not one but two big biopics are being planned based on his story.
One of these movies will star Jr. NTR, a top actor in Telugu cinema. He will be working with director SS Rajamouli, who is known for big hits like Baahubali and RRR. Jr. NTR has shown great acting skills, especially in RRR, but his recent movie Devara did not connect well with audiences.
On the other side, Aamir Khan is also working on a Dadasaheb Phalke biopic. He is likely to team up with Rajkumar Hirani, the director of hit films like PK and 3 Idiots. Reports say that this script has been in the works for four years. While Aamir is known for choosing strong scripts, his last film Laal Singh Chaddha failed at the box office.
Both actors are highly talented, and both films will surely try to present Phalke’s life in a powerful way. However, there is a concern—audiences today are less interested in biopics. Recent films like Maidaan and Chandu Champion struggled to attract viewers, even though they had good stories.
Still, Rajamouli and Hirani are two of the best directors in the country. If anyone can bring Phalke’s story to life in an engaging way, it’s them. As of now, not much has been revealed about either project. Posters, teasers, or trailers will give us the first real glimpse into how each film is shaping up.
In the end, only time will tell who can portray Dadasaheb Phalke more effectively Jr. NTR or Aamir Khan. Until then, the audience can look forward to seeing how these two major stars take on such a legendary role.
